About the Role

We are looking for a Palantir Foundry Developer with strong data engineering expertise to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and transformations using Foundry Pipeline Builder and related Foundry tools. The ideal candidate has experience working with large-scale data integration, modeling, and analytics, combined with strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder and Code Workbooks.
  • Ingest, transform, and model large datasets for downstream consumption by analytics and business applications.
  • Build and manage Ontologies to enable end-user applications and workflows.
  • Develop custom transformations in Python, PySpark, and SQL within Foundry.
  • Integrate Foundry with external data sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage, etc.).
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across ingestion and transformation layers.
  • Apply best practices in data governance, access control, and compliance within Foundry.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data scientists to deliver high-impact data solutions.
  • Support automation, CI/CD, and deployment of data pipelines.
  • Document processes, pipelines, and workflows for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, especially Pipeline Builder and Code Workbooks.
  • Strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and transformation.
  • Experience in data modeling, ETL workflows, and data integration.
  • Solid understanding of big data concepts and distributed data processing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Foundry Ontology, Contour, or Workshop.
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines or advanced analytics within Foundry.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, containerization).
  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, etc.).
