Job Title: Documentum OpenText Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Documentum OpenText Specialist with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the Documentum OpenText platform to ensure efficient document management and compliance with organizational standards. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance document management processes and support enterprise content management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management:
- Administer and maintain the Documentum OpenText platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Configuration and Customization:
- Configure Documentum components, including Content Server, xCP, D2, and Webtop.
- Develop and implement custom solutions using Documentum Composer, Documentum Developer Studio, and other relevant tools.
- Integration and Migration:
- Integrate Documentum OpenText with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Plan and execute content migrations and data conversions.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and other stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for users and administrators.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure the platform adheres to organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
- Implement and monitor security measures, including user roles and permissions.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks.
- Analyze system metrics and logs to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Project Management:
- Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery for Documentum-related projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Documentum OpenText.
- Proven experience in administering, configuring, and customizing Documentum platforms.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Documentum components such as Content Server, xCP, D2, and Webtop.
- Strong knowledge of Documentum DQL, API, and DFS.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, XML, and web services.
- Familiarity with database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Documentum certification or other relevant professional certifications.
- Experience with cloud-based Documentum solutions and migration to cloud environments.
- Knowledge of OpenText Extended ECM, InfoArchive, and other OpenText products.
