Co-Founder - Lead 3D Artist

About Us: Team Ocean Games is an indie game development studio, dedicated to creating captivating and immersive gaming experiences. We are currently working on an exciting hack and slash dungeon crawler Roguelike game that promises to transport players to fantastical realms filled with adventure and mystery. We are seeking a talented Stylized 3D Artist to join our creative team and bring our imaginative world to life.

Role Overview: As a Stylized 3D Artist at Team Ocean Games, you will be responsible for creating high-quality stylized 3D props, environments, and characters that enhance the visual appeal of our game.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for various projects.
• Integrate 3D assets into Unity3D, ensuring optimal performance and visual quality.
• Drive innovation and contribute creative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
• Optimize 3D assets for performance without compromising quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and tools to continually improve skills and knowledge.
• Participate in strategic decision-making and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 3D Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Unity3D and experience integrating 3D assets into the engine.
• Expertise in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar.
• Familiarity with Substance Painter/Designer for texturing.
• Strong understanding of texture mapping, UV unwrapping, and shading techniques.
• Ability to create realistic and stylized 3D models and animations.
• Experience with lighting, rendering, and post-processing in Unity3D.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and creativity.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with rigging and character animation.
• Unity Particle system ,VFX ,shader graph
• experience with 2d art
• Previous experience in a startup or leadership role.
