Job Summary
Optellix Private Limited is seeking a skilled Optomechanical Engineer with a strong background in optical modeling, optomechanical design, and hands-on experience in manufacturing and prototyping. This role involves designing and implementing solutions for complex optical systems, drafting specifications and requirements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop optomechanical designs for optical systems.
Utilize OpticStudio for optical modeling and simulations (experience required).
Prototype solutions using Python or other coding languages.
Collaborate with teams to draft specifications and requirements.
Leverage AZOS API (preferred) to integrate and enhance optical systems.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Lead projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year
of experience.
Experience:
Proven hands-on experience in optomechanical modeling or manufacturing.
Proficiency in Optic Studio for optical modeling.
Entry level experience of Python for prototyping.
Strong skills in drafting specifications and requirements for complex systems.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Team player with demonstrated project leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with AZOS API.
Familiarity with industry standards for optomechanical system design and manufacturing.
