Plant Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities;

• Handle Plant operations – Material / Inventory Control / costing/ fixed overheads.
• A solid Finance controlling experience in Manufacturing with experience in payroll.
• Handle monthly cost rollup, MAP review, cost analysis.
• Monthly review of cost movements, continuous monitoring and flagging for corrections.
• Handle cost audit, Sox/IFC compliances.
• Handle both statutory auditors and internal auditors
• Liaise and align with stakeholders on cost insights and analysis.
• Adhere timelines and accuracy of various reporting.
• Control the reliability of accounting data, general ledgers, and reports.
• Validation of target savings in cost savings project, monitoring the saving reflection into the P&L and support with analysis.
• Manage the Plant Finance Team and drive finance transformation.

Payroll related:

• Driving improvements in payroll operations and compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Aligning with EPFO on compliance matters for exempted establishments.
• Handled payroll accounting, Actuarial valuation for employees benefits etc

Soft skills

• Manage the financial communication process for the plant with the relevant external and internal institutions.
• Be a Business Partner to the Plant Operations and Plant head.
• Challenge the plant operations and their team on the performance and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvements and standardization initiatives. (Including horizontal deployment within and across teams).
• Conduct session and share knowledge within team and across region on process, business understanding, tools, SOP etc.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills, team mindset and collaborative
• Influence skills, working with multiple finance teams.
• Process-oriented to deliver value to the business and minimize risks.

Note - Candidates from Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
