Khushi Baby's primary areas of focus include digital health solutions, health program strengthening, and research & development. Its flagship digital health solution, the Community Health Integrated Platform (CHIP), has been utilized by over 70,000 community health workers and 40,000 villages, reaching 45 million beneficiaries. Among these, over 5 million individuals have been identified with high-risk health conditions and have had their health monitored at the grassroots level. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has allocated over 160 crore rupees (20 million USD) to support the platform's scale-up.
The platform has been instrumental in supporting various initiatives, including the Rajasthan Government's digital health census, multiple rounds of TB active case finding, vector-borne disease surveillance, smoking cessation campaigns, catch-up immunization campaigns, and the monitoring of over 300 labor rooms across the state. The system has been co-designed with input from over 200,000 hours spent in the field.
From a program perspective, Khushi Baby focuses on primary healthcare broadly, with specific projects targeting high-risk maternal health, child malnutrition, and zero-dose children, supporting on-the-ground implementation.
Khushi Baby's work is supported by philanthropic donors such as GAVI, the Skoll Foundation, the PJM Foundation, the Alwaleed Foundation, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding from ARM. The organization collaborates with esteemed partners including IIT-B, IIT and AIIMS Jodhpur, JPAL South Asia, Yale CarDS Lab, the Yale School of Public Health, the Public Health Foundation of India, MIT, Microsoft Research, Google Health, ARMMAN, Wadhwani AI, WHO, PATH, and the Governments of Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, as well as the National Health Authority.
Position Overview: Khushi Baby is seeking Call center executives/ Call Centre specialist (Community Engagement Assistant/Associate) to work closely with the Field Communication Team. This role serves as a vital link between Khushi Baby and community health workers (ASHAs, ANMs, AWWs, LHVs,), Health officials (MOICs, BPMs, BCMOs) and other key health stakeholders) to ensure the effective implementation and adaptation of our digital health platforms. The ideal candidate will facilitate communication, provide training and support, and monitor health outcomes for high-risk pregnant women, children, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle Helpline calls to assist the Community Health Workers (CHWs), including ASHAs and ANMs with the Digital Health application queries.
Act as a liaison between Khushi Baby and the Community Health Workers, understanding their needs and challenges.
Provide training, guidance, and encouragement to health workers to effectively utilize KB digital platforms including Community Health Integrated Platform (CHIP.
Conduct regular calls with High-Risk Pregnant women, children and their caregivers, drop out mothers, caregiver of drop out children and related stakeholders.
Undertake regular communication activities (Phone calls and WhatsApp messaging, etc.) with ASHAs, ANMs, AWWs, LHVs, MOICs, BPMs, BCMOs (key health stakeholders) for the purpose of monitoring and improving KB platforms' adherence/adaptability, monitoring health sessions, and providing feedback on health workers' performance.
Monitoring the performance of the district/ Block/ Sector and giving feedback to them as per their performance
Support and facilitate training sessions for health workers and officials.
Conduct recurring field visits for session monitoring and to gather insights on operational challenges and user experiences.
Develop training scripts and record application videos, along with dashboard videos and occasional automated voice messages for field training purposes.
Support the communication team in preparing impact stories/case studies of health workers/beneficiaries through community engagement.
Assist in application and dashboard testing to ensure user-friendliness.
Share weekly/fortnightly summaries of calls and impacts with relevant team members.
Update Seed Data for CHIP and perform basic data analysis using Excel/Google Sheets for monitoring progress.
At least two field visits in a month for high-risk tracking
Collaborate with the communication team to prepare impact stories and case studies of health workers and beneficiaries.
Monitor the progress of health workers' usage of the application and provide actionable insights.
Qualification:
Required
Masters degree in communication or social work or other related field with specialization in Health/community health or Bachelors degree in any discipline with 2-3 years of experience working in the field of community engagement in Public Health/Hospital settings.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Work experience in the field of public health/Hospital settings (at least 6 months)
Language proficiency (mandatory)-
Hindi and local dialect of Rajasthan for the positions in Jaipur/Udaipur (Rajasthan)
Hindi and Kannada for the position in Bengaluru is mandatory (Karnataka)
Preferred
Familiarity with health applications and digital platforms is a plus.
Experience in the public health sector, or in a call center or customer service environment, particularly in roles involving community engagement, health communication, or support services.
Remuneration
Remuneration offered will be between 3 to 6 LPA depending on the candidate’s experience and skill sets.
