Role Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality software to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

• Track, document, and manage bugs/defects in tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

• Participate in code reviews to provide a QA perspective.

Ensure testing processes align with Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD pipelines.

• Continuously improve QA processes and recommend best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QA Experience (Manual or Automation) Skills:
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript,etc)
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Good understanding of databases and writing SQL queries for test validation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically
