Those intrigued by the prospect of contributing to the digital transformation journey of a Fortune 500 company are encouraged to explore more details about the function through the provided Link Purpose of the role The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a D&T Analyst I – Data Quality. This role will report into Assistant D&T Manager – Data Quality in India and functionally collaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise teams. It is an Individual contributor role. The Data Quality role develops and implements strategies to ensure GMI data is fit for business use. This role will be part of a team that actively develops and supports the evolving Global Data Governance Program that focuses on Data Cataloguing, Data Quality, and Data Governance metrics. This team focuses on enabling Data Governance through tools and solutions. This individual is responsible for development of Data Governance tools and solutions, as well as oversight of general architecture of all projects to ensure consistency. Additionally, they are responsible for partnering with leadership and GDGS team members to deliver a reporting and metric solution to enable data governance programs and projects to assist in showing data governance maturity, issues and global views of over Data Governance Health and Data Quality health. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Development of Global Data rules and quality metrics in partnership Data Stewards, Data SMEs, and client and stakeholder groups across GMI for existing and new data sets Collaborate with Master Data Process Owners, Data Stewards and Data SMEs to operationalize, monitor, and evolve Data Quality processes, metrics and KPIs Create, communicate, and deploy data quality solutions utilizing various technologies. Support Data Governance Reports Data Governance Tools subject matter expert on one tool Create Data Governance Reporting solutions for broader data governance community. Independent engagement with project teams to identify new rules, rule modifications and metrics. Lead and Drive meetings and initiatives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Support single domain/tool scope & moderate complexity · Learning on D&T Capabilities Self-Assessment · General instructions for routine work, detailed instructions on new work · Expert: o Collibra/Information Steward/Monte Carlo or any other Data Quality Monitoring Tool o SQL · Proficient: o Database technologies (Cloud, etc.) o SAP o Data Services o Alation or any other Data Catalog Tools · Familiar: o Experience in Azure Devops, with infrastructure or development focus o Python o Tableau o Job scheduling o ServiceNow · Build expertise on transactional data in project. · Leverages experience from past projects and builds domain expertise · Concepts: o Data Analysis o Visualization o Security/Data Privacy o End-to-End Process Mindset o Infrastructure o Database Modeling o Platform Technologies o Data Movement o MDM · Good to have Skills: o Knowledge of Data Governance Strategies and Processes o Demonstrates learning agility and ability to work
