Job Description
Our client is a locally owned and operated company specialising in 3rd party equipment for the mining and transport industries. They are seeking a Draftsperson to join their team.
Key responsibilities include -
  • The development and upkeep of all manufactured item drawings and identifying and developing improvement to drafting processes and standards and all related computer-aided drawing activities
  • Sourcing correct parts from suppliers
  • Working across the organisation, with the primary focus on supporting and providing for the needs of the production assembly team

Requirements Essential Requirements -
  • Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Familiarity with 3D modelling tools
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft Suite and internal based applications
  • A valid C Class Driver's Licence

Desirable Requirements - 
  • Australian recognised qualification in Drafting or CAD Design
  • Previous experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System ie - Greentree or Inventory Management system.
