What you’ll do Role purpose: The Global Process Owner is a core element of the VOIS Finance Services (Vodafone Global Shared Services) organization and plays a vital role in achieving our strategic goals, especially in terms of value generation and process simplification. Your key aim as Global Process Owner for Asset and Project Accounting (FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTING) and Intercompany is to successfully drive a global programme of process improvements, ensuring that those improvements are embedded into the existing organisation structures, and measuring the resulting improvements to process health. Delivery of Finance Operations targets  Manage & Drive Operations:• Own e2e design & policies for FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTING and INTERCOMPANY process(es) • Deliver process improvements & transformation (simplification, standardization, optimization)to arrive at best in class processes • Build, lead and manage the community to support you in setting the relevant operational and strategic targets in collaboration with various stakeholders from, VOIS Finance services, Group Finance etc. • Drive your team to establish solid relationships with their peers from Group Finance, VOIS Finance services, Accenture and relevant further experts in non-finance domains IT across the globe to co-construct and deliver design effectiveness, process improvements, easing operations and simplifying our ways of working • Review issues to identify process improvements, screen and evaluate innovative solutions, improve our set of KPIs and SLAs – all of this are examples of what will be under your remit of steering and guiding but it may not be limited to this. • The role will actively support & drive 3 year transformation roadmap & deliverables for FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTING and INTERCOMPANY. Take Accountability for the future of VOIS Finance Services • Actively contribute to the VOIS Finance Services Leadership team, driving and improving cross market collaboration and engagement• Ensure an effective organisational structure within own remit of control but also challenge the overarching structures to achieve future targets and evolution • Drive value creation by accepting calculated risks through a digital first approach, radically simpler processes and a culture of permanent learning.• Grow a culture of one vertical, striving to making work fluid and leveraging the wider teaam Leadership of the respective team(s) and team members Create Purpose and ensure impact • Regularly ensure the team members understand the purpose of the organisation• Based on this, co-construct a joint vision for your team with your team• Identify with everyone their contribution to this vision Give Orientation & Guidance • Based on this vision, define jointly with the team the goals and targets and• Allocate these individually based on strengths and aspiration of each team member• Enable the team to drive in their own way towards achievementImprove and nurture collaboration structures • Create clarity in the team about the different roles, responsibilities & contributions• Support constructive collaboration valuing the different stakeholders and their contributions and needs• In doing so, connect different members of the organisation with each other and facilitate the exchange• Over and beyond exchange and collaboration, foster joint reflection to keep challenging ways of working Support & drive development • Identify the strength of your team members and help to actively develop these• Give regular and constructive feedback on areas of development of your team members and • advise them on how to balance and manage these through collaboration with others• Coach your team members in self & leadership development areas such as self-leadership, accountability, decision making, etc.Create and keep a positive spirit • Create confidence for the joint vision and continuously appreciate the achievements• Ensure a long-term sustainable performance or your team by• strengthening your team members and their self-efficacy and• Creating healthy conditions Key accountabilities and decision ownership:  Establishing and leading the process community• Setting the targets and driving the delivery in line with the Finance Services strategy, post alignment with Group Finance• Senior Stakeholder management to align targets and roadmap and support delivery• Build and drive a strong relationship with Local Market CFO management, Group Finance and Shared Services management, acting on behalf of the Head Accounting, Reporting and Controlling and Head Finance Services where necessary• Develop the community and its members to move to strong collaborative ways of working and be the pace maker in simplifying FinOps Process Standardization and Simplification• Define, implement and maintain a harmonised and standardized process framework covering all local markets managed in VOIS Finance Services • Realise cross functional exchange and standardization in line with process landscape and management• Provide the necessary governance of all relevant processes and FinOps projects worldwide in a functional dimension, which are significant drivers to achieve the business and performance targets.• Analyse business needs and processes to develop efficient solutions and conduct respective improvement projects to optimise processes • Translate business needs into qualitative and quantitative measures and track process efficiency and development Who you are Core competencies, knowledge and experience: • Deep understanding of Fixed assets and Intercompany processes both hands on and as reviewer.• Good understanding of SAP, ICO and Fixed Assets subledgers and relevant tools.• leadership skills and long term experience in managing teams in a complex and changing/dynamic operating environment• Strong expertise in Finance operating models and E2E operating processes • Strong project & change management skills, proven Fixed Assets and Intercompany Accountability to structure and deliver complex transformation initiatives to simplify, standardize and automate processes across geographies• Excellent communication skills; transparent and open nature• Proven ability and experience in dealing with and influencing multiple stakeholders on senior level Must have technical / professional qualifications:  • 15+ years of working experience in Finance• Chartered Accountant / University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, etc.• High level of Leadership skills with an ability to manage a team in a diverse geographical location, minimum 4+ years of leading virtual teams • Deep knowledge and understanding of operational finance processes, operating models, preferably in telecommunications industry• Very strong Project & Change Management; Great communicator • Willingness to travel globally (minimum 20%)• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
