Responsibilities:Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using specified welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, etc.) on various types of metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).Reading Welding Drawings: Interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.Preparation of Materials: Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and ensuring proper fit-up.Setting Up Welding Equipment: Set up and adjust welding machines and equipment to ensure proper welding parameters.Ensuring Weld Quality: Produce high-quality welds that meet specified standards for strength, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.Inspection of Welds: Inspect finished welds for defects (., porosity, cracks, incomplete fusion) and perform necessary repairs or rework.Use of Welding Tools and Equipment: Operate welding machines, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all welding safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintenance of Equipment: Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions.Collaboration: Work effectively with fitters, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects.Record Keeping: Maintain basic records of welding work performed and materials used.Local Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues in Marathi and Hindi.
