Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Test Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for test engineering, test execution, creating and executing test cases, functional testing, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and using automation tools to streamline the testing process.


Position Requirements:

● 4+ years of experience quality assurance experience

● Strong understanding of Units tests, integration tests, functional tests, end-to-end tests and performance tests

● Strong understanding of the difference between manual test versus automated tests

● Experience working in a SaaS environment

● Experience with front-end test automation frameworks

● Experience with Agile and Kanban SDLC


Role & Responsibilities:

● Understand and define critical path usability flows and their impact to the overall platform in a complex multi-tenant environment.

● Define testing requirements for critical path features and communicate to the Product, Engineering and QA automation teams.

● Develop and implement Agile front-end application test approaches, strategies, plans, and expected results to ensure front-end application validation is part of every sprint.

● Define, enhance and streamline integration and end to end test cases to be included in the automation test suites.

● Perform testing and validation of requirements when/where applicable.

● Perform intermediate root cause analysis and resolution of business data issues.

● Support system testing/integration/deployment activities

● Participate in triage process, fully reproducing production issues, communicating workarounds, developing missing test scenarios and validating fixes; accurately submitting and maintaining defects in the appropriate repository

● Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements

● Perform manual exploratory and acceptance testing of new features being iteratively developed

● Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

● Attend system design reviews; scrum team refinement meetings; any other meetings as requested to support program and team

● Participate in software release activities, including deployment and post-release validation

● Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and healthcare technology.
