The Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Migration and Reporting Specialist to join our team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data by performing data migrations and developing insightful reports. You will leverage your expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), SQL, reporting tools, and data migration techniques to support our data-driven initiatives.


Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement data migration plans and procedures using tools such as Web ADI, FBDI, EDI, and Open Interface Business Events.

- Extract, transform, and load data from various source systems to target databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Optimize SQL queries for improved performance and efficiency.

- Develop and maintain reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., BIP/OBIEE/OTBI, Power BI) to meet user needs and support data-driven decision making.

- Analyze existing reports for improvement opportunities and suggest new report designs.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.

- Maintain and document data migration scripts and reporting processes.

- Interface with finance systems to extract and transform financial data.

- Understand and work with EBS database architecture.

- Troubleshoot data migration and reporting issues to ensure timely delivery of accurate information.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data migration tools, reporting technologies, and EBS database management.

Qualifications :

- 5-10 years of experience in data migration, data warehousing, or a similar data-related role.

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's

- Strong understanding of data ETL processes and best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.

- Experience with data migration tools like Web ADI, FBDI, EDI, and Open Interface Business Events.

- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools (BIP/OBIEE/OTBI or Power BI) for report development.

- Experience with financial data integration and reporting.

- Understanding of EBS database architecture and data structures.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
