Responsibilities :

Requirements Analysis and Design :

- Analyze user requirements to understand system features and functionalities.

- Envision and design user interfaces and applications based on the defined framework.

Development and Troubleshooting :

- Develop user interfaces and applications using Java and the specified framework.

- Troubleshoot development and production issues across various environments and operating platforms.

Code Quality :

- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient Java code.

User Support :

- Develop documentation and assistance tools to support users effectively.

Software Development Process :

- Adhere to established software development processes.

Essential Skills :

- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, M.Tech, BE, MCA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-8 years of experience in Java development.

- Proven experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

- Experience developing web applications using a popular JavaScript framework (Node.js, Meteor, etc.).

- Experience with JOLT Apache Camel.

- Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms (web and server-side development).

- Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL), and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).

- Experience with test-driven development and writing effective JUnit tests.

Desirable Skills :

- Sun Certified Java Developer certification.

- Understanding of ACORD data standards (relevant to insurance industry).

- Experience in the insurance industry (a plus).

- Knowledge of Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

- Understanding of DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Docker).

- Experience with NoSQL document-based databases (MongoDB, CouchDB).

- Experience with continuous integration platforms (TeamCity, Jenkins).

- Knowledge of Single Page Architecture (SPA) or reactive principles.

- Experience with application server platforms (JBoss, IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat).

- Familiarity with unit testing tools (JUnit, Chai, Mocha libraries for JavaScript).
