Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium , Business Process Management (BPM) systems, and Java programming . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation for BPM platforms and mobile/web applications, ensuring quality, scalability, and robustness of enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Development :
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.
Build and execute automated test frameworks for BPM workflows and integrations using Java-based tools.
Enhance test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Quality Assurance :
Perform end-to-end testing for BPM systems, including workflow testing and backend validation.
Identify, document, and track defects to resolution while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Validate complex business processes, integrations, and rule-based workflows in BPM systems.
Collaboration :
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure proper implementation of automation hooks.
Continuous Improvement :
Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
Research and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
Mentor and guide junior team members in automation and BPM testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
5–10 years of experience in QA Automation with a focus on Appium and Java .
Proficiency in testing BPM platforms like Camunda , Pega , Appian , or others.
Strong knowledge of Selenium and Appium frameworks for mobile and web automation.
Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API testing.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle).
Programming Skills :
Strong command of Java programming language.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Groovy is a plus.
BPM Knowledge :
Experience testing workflows, rule engines, and process orchestration in BPM systems.
Understanding of BPMN 2.0 standards.
Tools and Platforms :
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Self-driven and proactive approach to testing
