Position Title: Hydraulic Engineer Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Department: Water Supply Company: Choice Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd Number of Positions: 1 1. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer with strong expertise in water supply project design and preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports). The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in hydraulic design, well-versed with relevant software, and proficient in the Telugu language to coordinate effectively with local stakeholders. 2. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and hydraulic analysis of water supply projects. Prepare, review, and finalize Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for water supply schemes. Use Water GEMS and other hydraulic modeling tools to design distribution networks. Work on Auto CAD / drafting software for design drawings and documentation. Collaborate with the project team, consultants, and clients for project execution. Ensure compliance with technical specifications, design standards, and project timelines. Provide technical support during field surveys and liaise with the Vijayawada-based project team. 3. Required Qualifications Education: B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) Experience: Minimum 3 years in water supply project design & DPR preparation. Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak Telugu . Technical Skills: Proficiency in Water GEMS (Hydraulic Modeling) Hands-on experience in Auto CAD / Drafting software Strong understanding of water supply systems and DPR processes 4. Behavioral & Functional Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Capability to handle workload efficiently and meet deadlines. 5. Other Details Employment Type: Full-time Joining Requirement: Immediate joiners preferred
