Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain detailed and accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.

Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.

Prepare engineering documentation, including assembly drawings, part drawings, and detail drawings.

Review and revise drawings as needed based on project feedback and modifications.

Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in CAD software and design techniques.

May participate in creating presentations and reports to communicate design concepts.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety protocols.

Requirements

Develop Detailed Designs:

Create 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.

Produce detailed drawings and specifications based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations from engineers and architects.

Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and project feasibility.

Communicate with clients to understand their design requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Quality Assurance:

Review and verify designs against specifications and industry standards.

Ensure all designs comply with applicable regulations and standards.

Documentation:

Maintain organized records of designs, revisions, and project documentation.

Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation for review.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest CAD software advancements and industry trends.

Implement feedback and make necessary revisions to improve design quality.
