About the Role
Loomiz is looking for a passionate and proactive PD Merchandiser Intern to support product development processes for global fashion brands. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing apparel design, sampling, and client coordination within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing the product development lifecycle —from concept to final sample delivery—ensuring client requirements are met.
Support the team in costing and pricing , maintaining competitiveness without compromising quality.
Collaborate with design and production teams to develop market-relevant, innovative products.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely updates, approvals, and delivery of samples.
Monitor sampling timelines and provide regular reports to ensure adherence to deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education : Graduate or final-year student in Fashion Merchandising , Apparel Production , or Fashion Technology (NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent).
Knowledge : Basic understanding of apparel product development, sampling, and costing processes.
Skills : Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
Tech Proficiency : Familiarity with tools for tracking timelines, Excel, and industry software is a plus.
Attitude : Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented approach.
