Your Mission: Be the Heartbeat of Our Characters
Are you a storyteller who speaks through movement? An artist who can make a character feel joy, sorrow, and pure mischief with just a few keyframes? We are looking for an exceptionally talented 2D Character Animator to be the driving force behind the personalities that will be seen and loved by billions of children. You won't just move graphics; you'll be giving our characters their soul. If the challenge of creating world-class character performances that will become a core memory for an entire generation ignites your passion, we need to talk.
What You'll Achieve:
Master Character Performance: This is the core of your role. You will orchestrate the emotional and physical performances of our beloved characters. Your expert application of timing, acting, and the principles of animation will make them jump, dance, laugh, and connect deeply with our young audience.
Become a Puppet Master: Design and build sophisticated character rigs in Adobe After Effects. You will be responsible for creating expressive, flexible, and efficient rigs that allow for the highest quality character animation.
Animate a Living World: Bring our stories to life by animating the vibrant worlds our characters inhabit. You'll animate backgrounds, props, and dynamic scene transitions that support and enhance the character's narrative and performance.
Drive Billions of Views: Your character animations will be the centerpiece of our viral YouTube content. You'll collaborate with illustrators, creative directors, and sound designers to ensure every action and expression contributes to creating unforgettable, shareable moments.
What You Bring to the Table:
A Character-Focused Demo Reel: This is the single most important requirement. Your portfolio must prominently feature examples of character animation , showcasing strong acting, emotional range, lip-sync, and dynamic action sequences. General motion graphics reels will not be considered.
3+ years of professional experience in a role focused specifically on 2D character animation.
Expert-level mastery of Adobe After Effects is essential, particularly with character animation tools and plugins (e.g., Duik, Limber, Rubberhose).
A profound understanding and demonstrated application of the 12 Principles of Animation (Rigging, Timing, Spacing, Squash & Stretch, etc.).
Excellent creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate a script or storyboard into a compelling character performance.
Strong communication skills in English and a highly organized, deadline-driven work ethic.
