Software Requirements:Strong proficiency in Linux with advanced Shell scripting skills.Good understanding of DevOps concepts and hands-on experience in implementing DevOps practices.Proficient in Cloud services, particularly AWS.Well-versed with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and skilled in writing code using Terraform Modules.Proficiency in one of the scripting languages, especially Terraform and Python, for automating and enhancing processes.Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy.Experience in Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps.Familiarity with HasiCorp stack.Expertise in security and vulnerability management practices.Adaptability to modern technologies and staying updated with advancements in the tech landscape.Overall Responsibilities:Manage and administer Linux-based systems and AWS cloud infrastructure.Implement DevOps practices to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform and other tools.Automate processes using scripting languages like Terraform and Python.Implement and manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy.Deploy and manage infrastructure using Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps.Ensure security and vulnerability management of systems and cloud infrastructure.Stay current with industry trends and continuously expand technical skill set.Work in shifts and adhere to ITIL processes.Category-wise Technical Skills:Linux and Shell Scripting:Proficiency in Linux administration and advanced shell scripting.DevOps and Cloud:Good understanding of DevOps concepts and hands-on experience.Expertise in AWS cloud services, including VPC, EC2, ELB, S3, EKS, and ECS.Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Proficiency in Terraform and writing code using Terraform Modules.Scripting and Automation:Strong knowledge of scripting languages, particularly Terraform and Python.CI/CD and Version Control:Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy.Deployment and Configuration Management:Proficiency in Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps.Security and Vulnerability Management:Familiarity with HasiCorp stack and best practices in security management.Adaptability and Self-Development:Proactive mindset for self-development and staying current with industry trends.Monitoring and Observability:Knowledge of monitoring tools like cloud watch, Grafana, Prometheus, and cloud trail.Experience:RHCSA certification and AWS Solution Architecture certification.Hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes deployment.Day-to-Day Activities:Administer Linux-based systems and AWS cloud infrastructure.Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform and other tools.Automate processes using scripting languages like Terraform and Python.Implement and manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy.Deploy and manage infrastructure using Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps.Ensure security and vulnerability management of systems and cloud infrastructure.Stay updated with industry trends and continuously expand technical skill set.Work in shifts and adhere to ITIL processes.Qualifications & Soft Skills:RHCSA certification and AWS Solution Architecture certification.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to handle critical incidents with composure and efficiency.Proactive mindset for self-development and adaptability to modern technologies.Readiness to work in shifts and experience in ITIL processes.
