Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Supply Chain Planning – Tools & Solutions Expert
The Region Planner is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize business operations within a specific geographic region. Their main objective is to ensure that the company's resources, including people, technology, and finances, are effectively utilized to meet regional business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain planning tools and solutions that optimize inventory and supply chain operations. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments within the organization, ensuring that best practices are followed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions that address business needs; understand business requirements and translate them into effective system integrations. Customize and enhance existing systems to meet evolving business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, maintaining system reliability. Develop training materials and provide training to users on planning tools and solutions. Participate in system upgrades and migrations, providing expertise in planning tools and solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand specific business requirements and translate them into effective system integrations. Plan and execute validation and testing processes for integrated systems, ensuring that operations remain reliable and compliant. Develop and maintain documentation for validation protocols and procedures. Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, supply chain, and business analysts, to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for integrated solutions. Lead integration initiatives involving SAP, APO, Kinaxis and other systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between these platforms. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement in planning processes and supply chain operations. Manage and improve master data management practices to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency. Develop comprehensive integration strategies, considering data consistency, security, and system performance. Lead the integration efforts for various systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange between applications such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other critical platforms. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in planning tools and solutions. Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in BI and supply chain analytics. Customize and optimize integrated systems to streamline processes, including production, quality control, and supply chain management.
