Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Embedded (Development/Testing) Engineer and located in Bengaluru. The Junior Embedded Engineer will be responsible for working with the Embedded Design team which:

  • develops and tests embedded hardware and the associated firmware;
  • working primarily on IoT micro-controllers (Wifi, BLE, Lora); and designing and maintaining embedded hardware systems.
  • The Junior Embedded Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions.


Freshers are encouraged to apply for this role.


Qualifications

  • (Mandatory) Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • (Bonus) 1-year plus industry experience.
  • (Mandatory) Strong proficiency in C/C++, and Python (Programming Language)
  • Experience with RISC-based IoT SoC,Tensilica Xtensa LX6, ARM Cortex-M processors (bonus), their peripherals, and associated software stacks
  • (Bonus) Demonstrable experience with Embedded Linux and developing & testing applications on the Linux platform
  • (Mandatory) Experience with embedded development & testing tools (debuggers, emulators, oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • (Mandatory) Experience with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and Ethernet
  • (Bonus) Experience in developing drivers for different hardware peripherals
  • (Mandatory) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
  • (Bonus) Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT, BLE 4.0, Matter or higher, HTTP, Websockets, ZigBee and security protocols such as TLS is a plus
  • (Bonus) Experience in developing & testing firmware for connected devices is a plus
