About the role :

We are at Maino.ai looking for a creative senior DevOps engineer to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment. In this role, your duties will include supervising junior developers, developing software and configuring systems, and performing diagnostic tests throughout the stages of development. You will also be required to forecast project duration and cost.To ensure success as a senior DevOps engineer, you should demonstrate extensive experience in DevOps engineering and managing junior developers. Outstanding senior DevOps engineers optimize and enhance a company's software performance.

Responsibilities:Implement secure, resilient, and cost-efficient architecture for our cloud-native platform service.Build and maintain a cloud-native platform Infrastructure following the "infrastructure as code" principle.Maintain and optimize the application layer of a multi-DC environment.Conduct research to bring innovative solutions to a complex environment to improve processes and tech stack.Application and infrastructure logging and monitoring solutions.Work with developers on software requirements and analyze test stage resultsDesigning automated module deployments and developing interface simulatorsFinish updating code and scripts, as well as resolving product implementation issuesSupervise normal maintenance processes and do diagnostic testingRecord procedures and track performance metricsAdhere to network administration and cybersecurity best practisesRequirements:A bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field of study, or comparable experienceFive years or more of expertise in at least two IT fields, such as technical architecture, application development, or operationsPractical understanding of enterprise data centre technologies such as storage systems, network switching, and security architecture inside a virtualized data centreUnderstanding of the ideas and methods of business process re-engineeringIn-depth knowledge of application development approachesSkilled in effectively evaluating situations and exercising reasonable judgementExperience with cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies, as well as familiarity with a comprehensive range of AWS infrastructure solutions (EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC) (Chef, Puppet)Monitoring and automation scripting abilities (shell, python, ruby)Grasp of continuous integration technologies like Jenkins, Hudson, etc.Prior experience optimizing apps for maximum performance in both stand-alone and distributed systemsProven track record of maintaining infrastructure and assuring stability while introducing new featuresThe ability to express design and implementation options effectivelyThe ability to work with a wide range of open source technologies and toolsAbility to do regular, incremental code testing and deploymentBe well-versed in automation toolsAbility to collaborate, communicate openly, and reach beyond functional boundaries.
