If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.What does a successful Automation Tester do?The Automation Tester will be key in driving how we automate and scale their testing efforts. You will be responsible for driving our testing automation coverage and introducing new techniques to ensure the delivery of high-quality experiences to our customers.What you will do:- Work within a team to develop test plans and ensure the plans are focused on test automation.- Develop automated tests with the appropriate technologies like Open-source test automation frameworks Rest Assured, Selenium, JMeter etc.- Provide the team and all stakeholders with clear and real-time updates regarding test status, bug status, and overall quality about the product by monitoring failures, reporting bugs, analyzing & triaging automated tests running in the continuous delivery processes.- Work side-by-side with the development team on testing in parallel and automating tests in our sprints.- Design and implement tools that improve increase testing efficiency- Research new or better alternate automated testing tools- Help maintain systems to monitor test stability and report stability issues back to engineers- Keep a learning mindset - look for opportunities to continuously improve yourself, our products, and the practices that we use to build our products.- The passion to build tools that will enable the engineering team to write tests more easily- The trait of constantly looking for better solutions to bring down automation flakiness and increase automation reliability, thinking ahead and building for future changes in an ever-changing mobile ecosystem- Desire to automate everything and reduce the time required to manually test our productsWhat you will need to have:- Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in writing reliable and maintainable automated tests- Experience with automation testing frameworks like Rest Assured, Selenium, JMeter- An eagle-eye for test coverage gaps, false positives or negatives and proficiency in black box, functional, and user flow testing techniques- Experience working in Agile / SCRUM delivery methodology- The ability to write and understand code - preferably in Java and Java Script for the test automation framework- Experience with software development tools (IDE, debugger, git, JIRA, Jenkins, etc)- Professional-level programming skills (regex processing, class design, Map data structure, etc.), particularly in Java and/or Java Script- Shell scripting skills (commands like grep, cut, sed, sort, wget, etc.)- Experience with Behaviour Driven Development approach and Gherkin language- Experience with JSON objects, SQL queries, data structures, log file analysis, etc.- Experience in API Testing and knowledge of Swagger and Open API Specifications.- Experience in Dev Ops pipeline tools like Jenkins or (preferable) Concourse.- Related industry experience in payment processing solutions.What would be great to have:- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing, preferably Banking and Financial services domain- You stay focused - you want to ship software that solves real problems for real people, now- You’re learning – no matter how much you know, you are always seeking to learn more and to become a better engineer and leader- You love Realtime - Experience in working with large scale real-time applications is an added advantage- You can amplify your team, see around technology corners, develop strong relationships with all your team’s stakeholders.
