We are looking for a bright and passionate Chassis Design Engineer with below competency.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Experience in Design and development support of Bus Body / BIW structures design.
  • Design of Bus Body / BIW structures design for conceptual stage, prototype, and production design intent.
  • Coordinate with CAE team to ensure product meets the requirement including, Structural, Durability, NVH and Thermal requirement.
  • Review of component 2D Drawing for prototype and production releases, including, GD&T and engineering specs.
  • Good knowledge on material selection and various commercial vehicle requirement standards.
  • Achieve static and dynamic clearance targets with the Bus Body / BIW structures design.
  • Support for BOM creation for all assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Good understanding on DFMEA.
  • Support the Team to sign off Inspection reports, verify and validate the commodity requirements and design rules.
  • Exposure about various Testing (like DVP & PV) the product based on the customer requirement.
  • Knowledge of truck/bus Chassis systems, brake, suspension, Exhaust system, Fuel system, Hydraulic lines, front & rear axles, wheels.
  • Knowledge on Cockpit system, Driver Seat, Instrument Panel, Drivers display, passenger seating, passenger supports etc.
