The Branding Club, a dynamic and forward-thinking branding agency, is embarking on an ambitious project to redefine the boundaries of digital branding. In collaboration with Hard.Coded, a leader in software development and technological solutions, we are assembling a high-performance team to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 6 months. By leveraging the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), we aim to create a solution that is scalable, robust, and cutting-edge. The selected candidates will be part of a dynamic environment where creativity meets technology, leading to unparalleled user experiences and groundbreaking branding strategies.
The Branding Club, in partnership with Hard.Coded, is on the hunt for two Test (Automation) Specialists to join our high-performance teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our MVP not only functions flawlessly but also delivers a seamless and bug-free experience to users. As a Test Specialist, you'll design, develop, and execute automation scripts, and identify gaps in the quality assurance process, making sure that our digital branding solutions are robust and reliable.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source or commercial tools.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Monitor debugging process results and investigate the causes of non-conforming software.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Experience with both white box and black box testing.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Nice to Haves
Experience with performance and/or security testing.
Working knowledge of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
