Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Power Supply Testing Engineer at Rug-Rel Components & Systems Pot. Ltd. The Power Supply Testing Engineer will be responsible for conducting test engineering, test execution, creating test cases, and performing functional testing of power supply systems.

Interface with test technicians, assembly personnel, engineers, customers, and suppliers.

Test and debug both prototype and production power supply assemblies. Verification testing of completed products is essential

Work on part selection, schematic drafting, and support for PCB design. This includes designing DC/DC and AC/DC high-reliability power supplies ranging from 50W to 5000W output.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in ECE/EEE or a related engineering discipline, with a focus on or experience in power electronics.

At least 2 to 3 years of design and testing experience in the power electronics/power supply domain.

Working knowledge of power electronics, especially power supplies.

Experience in testing hardware sub-assemblies and final products.

Ability to understand hardware design.

Work with firmware/hardware engineers to determine functionality protocols.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and in distilling data to generate test reports and presentations.

Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience of circuit and board failures.

Experience in functional testing.

Basic understanding of EMI/EMC and testing knowledge.
