Job Decription-
8+ years of experience as Postgrse DBA
- Support several Open-Source technologies, including PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Install, configure, upgrade and patch for Postgresql and other open-source databases.
- Plan, develop and implement processes and procedures for database backup and recovery.
- Take care of the Database design and implementation, including Patch Management and Version Control.
- Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Perform database/application tuning and performance monitoring.
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
- Work as part of a team and provide 247 support when required.
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
- Analyze potential impact of problem resolution and take corrective measures when needed.
- Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience working on any public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP) is preferred
