Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on GCP to meet our business requirements and drive digital transformation initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs, technical requirements, and solution objectives.
  • Design end-to-end cloud architectures and solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that leverage GCP services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Develop architectural designs, diagrams, and documentation to illustrate cloud solution components, dependencies, and integration points.
  • Lead technical discussions, workshops, and presentations with clients to articulate cloud solution designs, benefits, and implementation approaches.
  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to develop proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and project plans for cloud solution implementations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle, including solution design, deployment, and optimization.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, assessments, and audits to ensure alignment with best practices, industry standards, and security requirements.
  • Stay updated on GCP services, features, and capabilities, and evaluate their applicability to client requirements and use cases.
  • Support the development of cloud migration strategies, roadmaps, and business cases, and assist clients in planning and executing cloud migration projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on GCP cloud architecture, solutions, and best practices, and contribute to knowledge sharing and skills development initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 4 years of experience as a cloud solution architect, cloud consultant, or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Google Cloud certification(s) such as Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in GCP services and technologies, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity/access management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine - GKE).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend optimal approaches.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, interacting with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering cloud projects from inception to completion, including solution design, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud computing.
