Objective:

Thisis a fulltime onsite role for a Vision Engineer located in Chennai& Bangalore. TheVision Engineer will be responsible fordeveloping and implementing vision algorithms forrealtimeapplications. The Vision Engineer will also be responsible forcollaborating with thesoftware and hardware teams to developsolutions that combine the latest advancements inpatternrecognition robotics andcontrollers.

JobResponsibilities

  • Tocarry out successful commissioning of machine on factory floorconducts
    successful CPK GRR and deliver the best resultto customer.
  • To execute installation ofmachines ensure smooth ramp up and hand over machineforMP.
  • To check the blueprints of the applicationproject of customers.
  • To provide presalessupport to end users OEM customers and partners. It does
    include product demopresentation trails/POC (Proof ofconcept) to customers.
  • To interact with vendorsfor the development and design ofmachine.
  • Participate in industry related callsunderstand learn implement and replicate the
    applicationwhich are done elsewhere.
  • To support onsiteteam with their issue with existing machine and help them totroubleshoot it when and whereverrequired.
  • Should be ready to work onsite inrotational shift.
  • Possess the knowledge ofmachine vision system & industrialcameras.
  • Candidate shall have good knowledgeand understanding of programming languages such as python C orC.
  • Shall be willing to travel and supportcustomer whenever it isrequired.

Requirements:

  • Minimum2 years of experience in application engineering. Experience in
    installation commissioning & troubleshooting ofSmart Vision system vision sensors
    and industrialcameras. Must be aware of optics such as lighting & lenstechnologies.
  • Knowledge of programming languagesuch as C C & Python.
  • Must have workedon industrial protocols as EthernetIP Profinet ModbusSerial
    and discrete IO.
  • Goodcommunication & presentationskills.
  • Experience on Cognex Keyence Omron& Sick vision system.
  • Knowledge ofother industrial products such as PLC HMI Servos and Robotics isanadvantage.
