Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain MySQL and MongoDB databases.

• Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures for

optimization.

• Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data

integrity.

• Security Management: Implement and maintain database security measures to protect

sensitive data.

• Data Modeling: Collaborate with developers to design and maintain efficient database

schemas.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks

and data corruption.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations,

processes, and procedures.

• Collaboration: Work closely with application developers and system administrators to

ensure seamless data integration and application performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4-6 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

• Strong proficiency in MySQL and MongoDB.

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

• Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures.

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL query languages.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).

• Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., AWS).

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker ) is a plus.
