Developer – POWER BI

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights through the development of interactive dashboards, complex data models, and intuitive visualizations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making processes and fostering a culture of analytics excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Visualization and Dashboard Development:

  • Develop intuitive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports to address business needs.
  • Create custom visualizations and interactive reports, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Design and develop automation solutions using Power Automate , Power Apps , and Power Platform tools.
  • Incorporate KPIs, trends, and forecasts to enable proactive business decision-making.

Data Preparation and Modeling:

  • Extract, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data models in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Implement data transformation workflows using Power Query and DAX formulas.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Provide end-user training and support to empower teams to use Power BI dashboards effectively.
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:

  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
  • Analyze data sources and improve ETL processes for better performance and reliability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing data models and dashboards.

Governance, Security, and Documentation:

  • Implement Power BI data security, row-level security, and access controls.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for datasets, reports, processes, and workflows.

Innovative Solutions:

  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and integrate innovative solutions to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Explore AI and predictive analytics capabilities within Power BI for advanced insights.
  • Leverage Power BI’s integration with tools like Python, R, and Power Automate to build advanced analytics workflows.
