Role Purpose
The SAP S4 HANA MPS (PPDS) Functional Expert is responsible to analyze business requirements, design, implement and deploy SAP S4 HANA MPS solutions to achieve defined business goals. Must work with SAP Global team to understand the requirements, follow the standards and governance to deliver SAP Projects in a timely manner. Must be self-sufficient to adopt new Enterprise SAP platforms. This is an Individual Contributor Role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage business process analysis and process redesign in manufacturing areas
Collaborate with global and regional manufacturing heads to improve manufacturing processing and reporting
Provide thought to leadership for manufacturing and business systems projects to ensure efficiency and compliance across manufacturing operations
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies in the operational and delivery processes.
Partner with manufacturing heads to deploy state of the art technologies in manufacturing automation
Monitor external developments and internal opportunities to improve operational efficiencies by leveraging best system processes
Lead and coach internal and external IT members to adapt global templates and best industrial practices using ERP and other IT systems
Good and strong knowledge of SAP ECC processes, configuration skills is needed. Must be able to provide inputs and be able to lead technical teams and functional teams. Must be able to posses hands-on working skills as needed in ECC or S/4HANA system
Knowledge and experience in planning and scheduling processes in SAP APO and PPDS systems is required.
Support the capability portfolio of manufacturing ERP functions and IT system integrations.
Take ownership and ensure results are achieved. Be a task master and be persistent in approach from start to closure of activities.
Counsel business on new technology opportunities to enhance their functions.
Engages business stakeholders in the development of programs to meet the business area’s strategic goals.
Works with cross functional partners to ensure system and process alignment
Understanding of SAP Application Life Cycle Management, Solution Manager, and development and methodologies, including business and process modeling
Collaborate with IT Solution Delivery and COEs to solution and plan capabilities.
Mentor and train junior members of the team to achieve collective objectives of the group.
Manage seamless Project Deliveries for multiple releases
Partner with IT Partners such as Producer, Provider and Partner in different geographies.
Qualifications & Experience
Any Graduate; Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering Preferred
Minimum 5 Years of experience in Manufacturing ERP Implementation.
Minimum 7 Years of Cross Functional SAP Implementation Experience (Preferred).
SAP Certification in Production planning and Quality management Module is Preferred.
