Roles &Responsibilities:

Provide24 x 7 Production Support to mission critical JAVA Applicationshosted on Middleware platform.

Participate inOracle Weblogic Server configuration on Solaris and Linux operatingsystems.

Create Weblogic Server Clustered andnonClustered environments to provide Load balancing andFailover.

Setting up a High AvailabilityEnvironments using external Hardware F5 load balancer Apache Webservers replications and Clustering of Weblogic Server& Services like JDBC JMS etc.

Integrationof Weblogic with various backend web services.

Life cycle management of Production servers which includes nightlyand weekly rolling bounce of various WLS and Apache Web serversacross multiple data centers.

Interact withvarious stakeholders and understand technical requirementspertaining to Middleware infrastructure services.

Support application infrastructure support fordevelopment testing and production environments.

Participate in Performance test runs analyze performancestatistics and recommend and implement tuning of productionenvironment at java virtual machine operating system & databaselevel.

Integrating the Weblogic testingenvironment with Jprofiler.

Writing shellScripts and adding to Cron job to automate daily maintenance taskslike log rotation report transfer Server Rolling bounce file systemcleanups and alerts etc.

Writing WLST scriptsfor automation of Weblogic administrative tasks.

Automation of migrating Weblogic environment fromDevelopment to testing to Production.

Monitoring the Health of Weblogic servers in Production for allbusiness applications.

Provide necessarysupport to developers to debug complex code issues by analyzingserver and application logs taking thread dump and heapdumps.

Weblogic & JDK upgrade indevelopment testing and production environment and applying patchand service packs.

Participate in DisasterRecovery exercise to ensure high availability and failover ofproduction systems.

Install maintenance andsecurity patches in apache web servers and Weblogic Applicationservers.

JDBC Connection Pool and Multipoolconfiguration with Oracle and setting up alerts onserver.

SSL configuration ordering new &renewal of existing SSL certificates.

ConfigureNewRelic/Splunk to get timely alerts and monitor to ensureavailability of services.
