Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of (GENUINE Only) experience in analyzing data, building reports, and providing actionable insights using Excel and Power BI. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and using complex data to help drive infrastructure, operations and business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs through accurate reporting and data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources(SQL, Azure Data Lake also called Kusto Data Warehouse) to provide actionable insights.
Develop, maintain, and automate reports using advanced Excel functions, Power BI and other Microsoft tools and Technologies.
Design and generate interactive dashboards in Power BI that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from internal teams and leadership.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify trends, key insights, and performance metrics.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and validations.
Work with databases and querying languages ( SQL, KQL) to retrieve and manipulate data as required.
Present complex data and analytical findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Continuously improve reporting processes through automation and optimization techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4-8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Proficient in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, formulas).
Strong expertise in Excel, Power BI, including creating dashboards and reports.
Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data analysis.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with SQL for querying databases.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools Power BI and other Microsoft tools and Technologies
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is not required but a plus.
Experience in Technology industry is a plus.
