Job Description

Doctor Visits:

  • Visit doctors (General Practitioners, Specialists) in assigned territories to promote the company's pharmaceutical/nutraceutical products.
  • Detail products' features, benefits, and effectiveness, including clinical studies, using visual aids and brochures.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with doctors to drive prescription generation.
  • Organize and assist in medical camps, webinars, and conferences to increase product visibility.

Chemist/Pharmacy Visits:

  • Ensure product availability at retail chemists.
  • Collect feedback regarding product movement and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure the continuous supply of promoted products.
  • Educate pharmacy staff about new product launches and promotions.

Distributor Visits:

  • Coordinate with distributors to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and promotional deals with distributors.
  • Resolve issues related to product availability, distribution, and delivery.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Actively participate in training programs and apply learned strategies in the field.
  • Explain scientific information in a simple and convincing way to non-medical professionals.

Sales Targets:

  • Achieve or exceed the assigned sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Plan daily work schedules to maximize doctor visits and chemist/distributor coverage.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory.

Market Analysis:

  • Collect and report feedback from doctors, chemists, and distributors regarding product performance.
  • Analyze the performance of competitors' products in the market and provide recommendations to improve sales strategies.
  • Report sales data, stock status, and competitor insights to the management team regularly.

Requirements Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma) or equivalent qualification .
Experience:
  • 0-2 years of experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey scientific product information.
  • Persuasive selling and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting purposes.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Must own a valid driving license and a two-wheeler/vehicle.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution networks.

Requirements
