About you can this role
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Operations IT Senior Solution Specialist located in Chennai, India. This role will be part of a team that develops and supports a variety of enterprise applications. This role must be fluent in C# .NET JavaScript (Angular) framework and be familiar with MS Azure environments with opportunity for exposure to different languages based on project needs. This role must have a well-rounded background in modern software development tools and a willingness to learn additional technologies. This ro will contribute to the design and planning of application projects, must have a good understanding of DRY method coding standards and be proficient with Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
Responsibilities:
Help design and develop enterprise solutions for our global organization. Help support/ troubleshoot solutions currently in our portfolio. Develop applications, APIs, data models and integrations that are sustainable and supportable. Create support and design documentation that is clearly detailed. Must have general knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, etc.) and tools (Git, Insomnia/Postman, static code analysis, etc.) to collaborate efficiently with the team. Due to the global nature of the team, the candidate may need to work evening hours to meet with team members in the USA.Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or Engineering or equivalent software development experience Fluent in English. Experience with Microsoft's software development stack: .NET full-framework and core (C#), Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, etc. Experience with frontend web libraries/frameworks: Angular, Bootstrap, (JavaScript/Typescript), ASP.NET MVC, etc. More than 5 years of related working experience.Preferred Qualifications:
General familiarity with Azure Developer services: App services, Functions, Logic Apps, Application Insights, Azure SQL, etc. Willing and able to learn new technologies as needed.
