Role Description
We're seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you'll be responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Customization: Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, designers, and developers to understand project goals and translate them into technical specifications.
- Technical Leadership: Lead development efforts, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance for fast loading times and efficient resource utilization.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain optimal website functionality.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and security best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure website compatibility, responsiveness, and user experience across various devices and browsers.
- SEO Optimization: Collaborate with the SEO team to implement SEO best practices for improved search engine visibility.
- Deployment and Maintenance: Assist in deploying and maintaining websites on hosting platforms.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve development processes and workflows.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in WordPress Development
Strong programming skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Wordpress and other CMS platforms
Proficiency in back-end web development, front-end development, responsive web design, and web design
Ability to optimize code and MySQL queries for fast page load times
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience in e-commerce development is a plus
In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery) and version control systems (Git)
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
