Senior QC Executive

Location:  On-site (Vikramasingapuram) Office Hours:  09:00AM - 06:00 PM (Should be flexible with the timings) Salary:  ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month Experience:  Minimum 1.5+ years in a publishing firm Company Address:  DATAWORKS, Vikramasingapuram, Tamil Nadu – We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QC Executive  to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all publishing deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of publishing workflows and the ability to identify errors quickly while maintaining high-quality output within deadlines.Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality checks on typeset pages, manuscripts, eBooks, indexes, and other publishing files. Spot and resolve layout, styling, formatting, consistency, and grammatical issues. Ensure compliance with client guidelines, publishing standards, and workflow processes. Collaborate with editors, paginators, indexers, and project managers to close QC feedback loops. Support and mentor junior QC members as needed. Complete QC tasks efficiently within project deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (English, Arts, or related field preferred). 1.5+ years of experience in a publishing firm. Strong Understanding of publishing workflows (typesetting, editing, indexing, PDF QC, and ePub QC) Preferable.  Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to identify style, layout, and consistency issues quickly. Good command of English grammar and formatting standards. Proficient in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and standard proofreading tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
