Working alongside a team of doctors, GPs, nurses, and support staff, you’ll collaborate closely to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include: Consulting with Geriatricians and GPs for diagnostic orders Leading Advance Care Planning for residents Providing expert advice on palliative care Reviewing new clinical treatments, technologies, and interventions Maintaining concise and accurate resident records Leading educational activities for residents, consumers, and their carers What You’ll Need Qualifications : Registered Nurse with post-graduate qualifications as a Nurse Practitioner Registration : Hold or be eligible for endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Experience : Minimum of 5 years as an RN, with at least 3 years in aged or community care Knowledge : Familiarity with the Nurse Practitioner Standards of Practice (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) Skills : Strong communication, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, busy setting Ready to Take the Next Step?
