Job Role:
(a) to supervise the library services rendered such as reference, acquisition, processing, periodicals and circulation section.
(b) to evolve the system disseminate awareness among the students regarding the availability of resources, information, search techniques etc.
(c) to develop the systems in the library for security and preservation of the books and journals etc.
(d) to set the system to improve the facilities available in the library for better service to the
students
(e) Any other work assigned by the Librarian/ Director, KRC.
Educational Qualifications:
1. Ph. D. in Library and Information Science + at least 15 years of experience experiences in
University Library as Assistant Librarian or Deputy Librarian.
2. Minimum 55% marks for all degrees. No corresponding education will be accepted.
