About Our Client

Our client is a prominent player in financial services, predominantly present in South India. The organisation has various business units, led by promoter family and the CFO would be responsible for all businesses.

Job Description

1. Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
2. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
3. Develop financial and tax strategies
4. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
5. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
6. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
7. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
8. Manage the accounting, legal, tax, and treasury departments
9. Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
10. Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
11. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
12. Implement operational best practices
13. Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximising a cost-effective benefits package
14. Participate in conference calls with the investment community
15. Maintain banking relationships
16. Represent the company with investment bankers and investors

The Successful Applicant

CA with 18-25 years of experience from financial services / NBFC / Fintech with at least 5 years of CFO experience. Experience of leading an IPO is an added advantage.
