As a Senior / Principle Cloud Engineer, you will lead the design and development of robust,
scalable, and secure cloud and on-premises solutions for medical data management. Your
expertise will enable the global deployment of our solutions in clinical care and research
settings, integrating seamlessly with cutting-edge sensor technologies and applications, as well
as third-party EHR systems and data storage services. This role requires a high level of
ownership, spanning the entire solution lifecycle, from design and documentation to
development, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities
● Design, document, develop, maintain secure, scalable, hybrid-deployable applications
(cloud and on-premises) as medical devices that follow best practices with collaboration
with cross-functional teams.
● Implement unit tests, functional tests, and verification procedures along with the
development of applications.
● Manage cloud/on-premises environments in accordance with security guidelines.
● Deploy and debug cloud applications as needed throughout the development lifecycle.
● Integrate and automate platform support and maintenance activities utilizing CI/CD tools.
● Monitoring of cloud and on-premises server performance and scalability and optimize the
performances and cost of the solutions.
● Integrate the product with 3rd party systems, i.e, EHR system, cloud/local data storages,
and etc.
● Prepare extensive software development documentation in accordance with any
regulatory guidelines.
● Commit to deliver high quality work
Qualifications
● 7+ years of relevant work experience.
● Experience of healthcare domain
● Proactive team player mindset.
● Experience with electronic health record (EHR) system integration and professional
understanding of ADT workflow.
● FHIR / HTTP, HL7V2 / MLLP
● Strong understanding the scalable and interoperable communication protocol - IEEE
11073 SDC
● Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
● Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper.
● Proficiency in configuring and managing server hardware and operating system.
● Experience with cloud computing services, preferably AWS
● Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores
● Experience with software testing activities including unit tests, integration tests, and
system tests
● Solid understanding of web services, API, and RESTful services
● Proficiency in or familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Javascript,
Typescript, Java, etc
● Proficiency in or familiarity with shell scripting, such as bash, zsh, etc
● Cloud related certifications, such as AWS certification (preferred)
● Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD tools and frameworks (preferred)
● Knowledge of medical device industry (preferred)
● Brownie points for having a valid B1 / H1 visa
