Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced product designer to spearhead the design of our next-generation business planning platform. As a design-led tool, Oculon AI is centered around delivering an exceptional user experience through intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. This role is perfect for a design leader who is passionate about product design, has a strong background in SaaS, and excels in translating complex requirements into seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design:

Take ownership of the product design process, including user workflows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to create seamless user experiences.Design Systems:

Develop and maintain scalable design systems, including reusable UI components, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency across the platform.SaaS Platform UI/UX:

Design intuitive interfaces tailored for a complex SaaS platform, optimizing user workflows and usability.Figma Expertise:

Leverage Figma to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes, ensuring assets are well-organized for seamless handoffs to developers.User Research:

Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product management and engineering teams to align design decisions with technical capabilities and product goals.Brand Identity:

Maintain a cohesive visual identity across the platform, aligning with Oculon AI’s branding strategy.Design Handoff:

Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are accurately translated into code, bridging the gap between design and development.

Requirements:5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on SaaS products.Proficiency in Figma, including expertise in designing, prototyping, and collaborating within a team environment.Experience creating and maintaining design systems for scalability and consistency across a platform.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience in user research and usability testing.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to have:Familiarity with front-end development frameworks or a basic understanding of how design decisions impact code.Interest or experience in AI-driven interfaces or data visualization.A background in finance or understanding of data platforms and processes is a plus.
