Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer
to design, develop, and configure solutions within the
Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter)
. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in
Guidewire Configuration (GOSU, PCF, Data Model, Rules, Workflows)
and an in-depth understanding of
P&C insurance business processes
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet business and functional requirements.
  • Develop enhancements using GOSU scripting, PCF files, business rules, and data model extensions.
  • Integrate PolicyCenter with internal and external systems via SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging, and Plugins.
  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure solution alignment and quality delivery.
  • Implement product model changes, rating logic, underwriting rules, and workflows.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives).
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Guidewire applications for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and Guidewire guidelines.
  • Provide technical support during SIT, UAT, and production releases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
  • Strong expertise in Guidewire Configuration (GOSU, PCF, Rules, Data Model, Product Model).
  • Experience with Integration development (web services, batch processes, messaging, plugins).
  • Solid knowledge of P&C insurance domain (Policy, Rating, Underwriting).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA/Confluence.
  • Familiarity with database concepts (Oracle/SQL Server).
  • Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines preferred.
  • Guidewire Certified Specialist/Professional in PolicyCenter is a strong plus.
