The Team
We represent Hitachi Vantara to clients across various industries, establishing business relationships to understand customer challenges so that we can deliver profitable business for Hitachi products, services and solutions. We are seeking energetic and motivated sales professionals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing a Systems Integrator relationship or working for a Global Systems Integrator (GSI) in a client facing role with a proven track record driving success and growing revenue streams in the GSI market. 
In your role, you will develop go to market plans and collaborate with the assigned GSI to meet the business requirements of joint customers. You will leverage market intelligence resources, partner events, product specialists, and your own professional network to revitalize existing relationships and close opportunities with high value.
The GSI Role
• You will establish medium and long-term business objectives including marketing and development plans and company-level strategy shifts required to significantly grow the GSI and Hitachi Vantara’s (HV) business.
• Passionately own and manage all primary GSI executive relationships.
• Spend majority of available time in the pursuit of opportunities by having daily contact with assigned GSI.
• Build solid relationships at all levels within the assigned GSI and manage activities to ultimately achieve better collaboration with the GSI than the competition. Provide quarterly QBR’s with assigned executive sponsors from HV and the GSI executives.
• Lead the development of a strategic GSI plan, to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth in collaboration with the assigned GSI.
• Coordinate with internal and GSI teams to develop unique and specific solution offerings that are will address a need in the marketplace and provide joint wins for Hitachi Vantara and the GSI.
• Create and maintain a realistic pipeline and forecast that tracks strategic and tactical GSI revenue opportunities. On a periodic and formal basis, reports financial results and business initiative progress to the sales and GSI leadership team.
• Drive a plan to achieve assigned quota by defining necessary activities, key relationships, and strategic solutions to exceed sales targets.
What you’ll bring to the team(qualifications) 
• A minimum of seven years’ experience to include directly managing a GSI relationship; OR working for a GSI in a client facing role 
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven track record of sales success, achieving quotas, thinking big and growing revenue streams in the GSI market.
• Executive presence and ability to influence and sell to all levels within GSI partners, customers, and our internal organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly complex, matrix work environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and technology knowledge. Background in IoT, big data, analytics, and key application (Oracle, Microsoft or SAP) a plus.
• Flexibility to travel 50% of the time.
• Inspiring communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
