Senior Lead Software Engineer - Cloud / Node.Js

About the Role:

Ovyo is currently seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer who has extensive experience working with cloud development technologies to join one of our major clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend microservices using Node.JS for cloud applications in microservices architecture.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process to cloud environments
  • Ensure the delivery of robust and high-quality code by incorporating comprehensive testing throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Implement monitoring and alert systems to track the performance and stability of live applications (DevOps).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live customer deployments


Required Experience:

  • Education: Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Node.js
  • A minimum of 3+ years working with JavaScript and GoLang
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud platforms such as AWS , EKS , and Kubernetes .
  • Familiarity with system design and development, as well as maintaining cloud services based on microservices architecture.
  • 2+ years experience with technologies like MongoDB , Bash , Docker , Kubernetes , and ELK is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is considered an advantage.
