Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations. Additional duties include assisting with tax filings, preparing budgets, and conducting financial analysis to support the finance team. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
- Experience in budget preparation and financial analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant experience or internships in accounting or finance roles
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare accounting is a plus
