Job Description-

Urgent Hiring for Assistant Librarian

Required Qualification-

Master’s degree in Library or a related field.

Experience-

2 Years

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with library management software and digital resources.

Preferable Skills

Have knowledge about inspection/accreditation processes related to library affairs at the Higher Education Institution (HEI) level, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and contributing to the preparation for accreditation reviews.

Roles and Responsibilties-

  • Maintain the library collection by organizing and shelving books, periodicals, and other materials accurately and efficiently.
  • To make Book card if filled, book pocket change if damaged and change due date slips if filled.
  • Repairs of Books, periodicals using tape and glue.
  • To do arrange issued cards in a in cards cabinet into serial order.
