JOB Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified Lead Process Engineer with over 15 years of experience in EPC, FEED, and process design for large-scale industrial projects.
  • The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, and chemical sectors, with a strong command of engineering standards, process simulation tools, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and process simulations using tools like Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or equivalent.
  • Oversee FEED, conceptual, and detailed design phases for EPC projects.
  • Review and validate process designs from contractors and licensors to ensure alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct process safety reviews including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and participate in model and layout reviews.
  • Perform techno-economic analysis, equipment sizing, and selection for critical process units.
  • Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and clients to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor junior process engineers, ensuring technical excellence and knowledge transfer.
  • Resolve technical issues during design, engineering, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).

Technical And Industry Experience

  • Proven track record in oil & gas (upstream/midstream/downstream), petrochemical, and water treatment projects.
  • Expertise in process simulation, hydraulic calculations, and control philosophy.
  • Strong understanding of international engineering codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to greenfield and brownfield projects.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelors/master's degree in chemical or equivalent.
  • 15 plus years of experience in in process engineering within EPC and FEED environments.
  • Good knowledge of software tools ASPEN, UniSim, DWSim etc.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of integration between process units.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite products like excel, power point, word.
